Paint Correction

1-STEP CORRECTION (Single Stage: Polishing/Gloss Enhancement)

(please note: depending on the size & the condition of vehicle, it can take approx. 5 - 10 hours for this process to be completed)

This is the entry-level paint correction service. In this process we are looking to remove around 40% - 70% of all the swirls and scratches throughout the vehicle.

For most vehicles that have been maintained well, this should be enough to achieve a superior gloss enhancement and great looking results.

1) Full paint decontamination: bug, tar, iron, rust removal

2) A thorough exterior hand wash / dry

3) Clay bar entire vehicle (removes any addtl. contaminants that may still linger in paint)

4) Inspect paint & utilize paint coating thickness gauge on each panel (to determine if thickness is safe enough to proceed)

5)Wipe down paint w/ a diluted IPA solution to strip and prep surfaces

6) Mask off non-painted areas with tape to avoid product buildup or staining

7) Step 1: Polishing Stage (detailed polishing with a low abrasive, high gloss machine polish that will remove fine swirls, holograms or micro-marring and leave a deep, brilliant shine)

8) Final wipe down w/ diluted IPA solution to remove polishing oils + remove masking tape

9) Apply Collinite No. 845 carnauba-polymer hybrid sealant wax by hand + final a buff once set

2-STEP CORRECTION (Dual Stage: Compound Cut / Finishing Polish)

(please note: depending on the size & the condition of vehicle, it can take approx. 10 - 18 hours for this process to be completed... you should anticipate leaving the vehicle with us for 2-full days in total)

In a 2-step process, we will be looking to remove 70% - 90% of all swirls and scratches throughout the vehicle. This is ideal for vehicles which have seen a fair amount of neglect over the years - requiring a bit more work; or for those looking to get near-perfect results.

There are two stages in this level of paint correction. First is the cutting stage, where all the major imperfections are handled and buffed out. Then the polishing/finishing stage where the much finer scratches and swirls are taken care of.

7) Step 1: Correction Stage (machine correction with a heavy cut abrasive compound in order to cut through the deeper, unsightly scratches and scuffs)

8) Step 2: Polishing/Finish Stage (detailed polishing with a low abrasive, high gloss machine polish that will remove fine swirls, holograms or micro-marring to smooth out and leave a deep, brilliant shine)

9) Final wipe down w/ diluted IPA solution to remove polishing oils + remove masking tape

10) Apply Collinite No. 845 carnauba-polymer hybrid sealant wax by hand + final a buff once set
